I saw a counselor there recently for grief counseling. I told my counselor, in the beginning, that I take care of my mother, and that I would have to work around her schedule, since she is on dialysis, and has a lot of other health problems. I had to cancel and reschedule a couple of times, and my counselor cancelled once with me the same day of my appointment. I cancelled my appt the day of recently and did not reschedule at that time. I can't express how grateful we are for this counseling center. We have adopted children with special needs and the therapy staff at Faith and Hope have been our number one support system. They have helped us with family counseling, TBRI training (life changing), marriage counseling, and personal therapy (because raising kids with early trauma is HARD). Faith and Hope Counseling is truly an incredible place. I served as an undergraduate intern, and even in that role, I was deeply impacted. The therapists here are not only highly skilled and up to date on the most effective, evidence-based approaches to treating clients, but they are also incredibly biblically sound.
