The vet Joe and his Vet Nurse were unreal today. Joe came in on his ‘time off’ to immunise my two dogs ( requirement of kennels) and could not believe all the unnecessary injections and stuff my dogs had been getting annually, in Queensland, at no great need to both dogs. I went in expecting to part with $1,000 (as usual in Qld - no offence intended to my old Vets) but it was much less than half of that which included treatment for an infected wound on one of the dogs legs. Imagine listing an after-hours emergency number on your voicemail and then ignoring multiple calls. Absolutely disgraceful. If you advertise an emergency line, you have a duty of care to ensure it’s actually answered or redirected to someone who will respond. Having it go unanswered in a crisis is dangerous and misleading. I’ll be reporting this to the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board, because no clinic should claim to provide emergency support and then abandon people when they need it most.

Audrey & Pluto are both doing so well after their desexing. Fairymount Vet clinic was wonderful! Very easy, straightforward, and friendly service and both doggies are pretty much back to normal after 3 days, without fuss.
