This is a fantastic FREE activity to do while in Denmark. Collect your map from the reception and head out on a gorgeous walk around the river. We have done it twice and absolutely loved it both times If you time it well, you can even stop half way for a bit of lunch in town before crossing the bridge. I do hope they add some fairies 🧚‍♀️ and repair the broken doors I have a feeling one of the door's is missing due to fire (Bo's i think?) We will definitely be back next time!

Great walking loop along both sides of the river, the fairy doors are a really nice touch, would be great to keep kids interested along a walk that is approximately 3km long depending on where you start from. We started from the boat ramp. Dog friendly.

Collected the map from the office of caravan park right next to the coffee shop. No worries if you don’t. Just follow the trails along the river. The trail can be a big walk for young ones which took us over a hour. Although it’s pram friendly paths. Bring enough water & food, hat and mosquito repellent spray. It was very cool close the ocean but as soon as we walked into brush close to the river bank, it was warm and my little one got bitten a lot by mosquitoes. Doors were amazing and well look after. We had a great fun.
