Best vet in Spokane I have used Vic Perger for more than 10 years. He is caring and compassionate and open to new ideas. His staff is professional and loving to the animals. When I sell a puppy I insist that the new puppy owners use Fairwood Animal Hospital for all their veterinary needs.
dog owner We can't ever take our small dogs here again, they give them drugs to keep them quiet. They only took them outside to go to the bathroom 2 times a day, that isn't nearly enough!! It was clean, well, staffed, but way over priced for the small amount of attention given these dogs in tiny crates, too small for most dogs to even turn around. A good vet clinic, but a very poor dog boarding hotel. Not for my dog & no place for big dogs to run, poor. We don't want our dogs drugged, drugs can kill my dogs. Kelly M
Excellent service An outstanding clinic. The reception staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Dr Perger was very gentle with my dog and I was impressed with the amount of time he spent talking with me. I have seen many vets, but never one who was so informative and eager to support my breeding goals. I will definitely use this clinic as my reproductive resource in the future. I wish we lived closer. The clinic was spotlessly clean and the staff were very professional.
Very Unsatisfactory Care. I have left my beagle at Fairwood for care on 2 occasions. Both times he returned very listless & dopey, they stated they always administer drugs to dogs & cats to keep them quiet. My dog was "quiet" for 2 days, lost weight, messed in the house while he never does & acted like he was ready to die !! This is not a good place to take your dog for shots, teeth cleaning or boarding. Their boarding facility is cramped, no exercise time at all, & the employees are non existent to care for your dog or mine... read more
Animal Hospital Friendly, helpful and caring staff. Many bulldogs treated by the practice. Dr Vic is willing to do research and consult others when confronted with unusual problems or new ideas. No superior attitudes, these people treat you as an important and equal partner in your pets health.
Very Disappointed I had been a repeat customer and always, always paid my bill in full right then. I like Dr. Hart. The other docs are nice as well. However, I recently had to take my large breed in as I'd lost a dog in the past with bloat (an urgent situation or it's life threatening, an xray is needed immediately). I took him in to get checked as he was very symptomatic and not feeling well at all. I was in a very upset state of mind. I didn't want my dog to die and i was prepared to sell my car if I had to , to pay for a ... read more
Super Pet Care I recently took my dog to Fairwood Animal Hospital when my regular vet was unable to schedule a timely appointment. I was very pleased with the high level of care. The doctor spent an amazing amount of time with us and I had plenty of time to ask a lot of questions. I have a nervous dog and the vet was very gentle and caring, taking a lot of time for my dog to get to know him before starting to poke and prod.
