Fairway Always busy, always crowded, but you are definitely getting the best price on food and its quality to. The baggers are great at packing things so it is easy to carry home....a huge plus.

Mecca, Heaven, Nirvana Once you've shopped Fairway, well, then you know there's no comparison possible with any other place. There is such high turn-over that everything is always fresh. Cheese from all over the world actually does not taste like a refrigerator case. Gourmet everything at a frqaction of the prices you would find anywhere in the world.

Fairway Fairway is a great place to go grocery shopping. In so many parts of NYC, there are only smaller, not-so-great grocery stores, and I have a hard time finding a large selection of produce, particularly organic produce. Fairyway, on the other hand, is HUGE, and they have massive amounts of produce as well as all the normal grocery store products, plus several sections of prepared foods. High quality groceries & excellent variety The only thing bad about Fairway is that the price of everything if a bit higher here, so you'd want to purchase your everyday branded items such as cereals, detergent, etc at another store. But for the rest it's hard to beat Fairway, their quality is fantastic. Their produce selection is great all year round. Also they are often busy in the evenings so go in the afternoon if possible.
