So a collector called my partner, asked for payment, he said to call back in June then the call ended. I’m a debt collector myself I know how collections is. I called back and I offered to settle the account out for the principal balance or close and they refused to do so. Now as a spouse in my state I’m not obligated to pay the debt but I’m willing to pay as long as that balance will close it out. So apparently while working at my caregiving job a representative named Heidi was calling me and asking for me she then asked for my address Without Really verifying what the point and purpose of the call was until I had to ask her. After that she kept on with a snarky tone asking when are we going to get paid when are we going to get paid, I told her that I thought I had paid them several years ago and that my business with them was finished she claims no and even claims that there's a lawsuit against me.
