It's usually a good visit here and everything goes pretty smoothly but this time was different. We arrived to the ER at 6:30 with my mother having stomach pains. We were brought back to waiting room quite a few times before they gave her a room. She was in really bad pain the whole 8hrs we were there before finding out anything solid. On this visit, I tested positive for covid, and have multiple underlying health issues that make it very hard, and sometimes dangerous for me to get this. I had been running a low grade fever, had a sore throat, severe headaches, and was beginning to cough. I was very fatigued and was worried that it was only going to get worse due to my compromised immune system. The wait room was a bit small but the workers were real nice. Sadly though I don't think anyone in this hospital regardless ER and/or upstairs know how to take blood out of someone. I kind of refuse to let the new training person take blood out of my arm since I'm a hard stick. The nurse herself couldn't do it so she had to get the gentlemen who can use the special machine to get a good vein for an IV.
