Impossible to get an appt in less than 2 mos..if you have not seen your provider within 1 yr, you must get a new referral. No appt available with my provider within 1 yr, ( not my fault) you must get a new referral. Most phone people are extremely rude and they have no urgency to help you. Wish each one had to live with my pain for a day
Dr. Burton and team were above par on all facets. I’ve been to several orthopedic centers and have never had a better experience. Referral to scans, consult and treatment were within one week. 24 hr call back from the scans directly from Dr. Annie Burton for treatment options and injection within one week. The pain is gone and the procedure was easier than a dentist visit. You should consider this team for your pain management or at least another consultation. I was/am extremely happy with my results.
My husband, a severe burn victim survivor of more than 43 years, waited 4 months for an appointment with Burton, after his other pain doctor left this same clinic unexpectedly and without transitioning my husbands care to a new doctor. Dr. Burton then rescheduled and delayed our first appointment with her by an additional month to accommodate our request for a longer appointment time given my husbands unique injuries and the complex changes to his health. Went in for what should have been a simple joint injection in my lower back. The proceduralist was very sub par. The injections took way longer than they should have and were incredibly painful. Apparently she was incapable of finding a joint. She had to re-position the needle some many times that I ended up with massive bruising all over my lower back that ran down my buttocks to the top of my thighs.
