Restaurant was great and the open-mic night was awesome! Super fun and some real talent tucked away in Talkeetna!
We came here for dinner while exploring the little town of Talkeetna. Previewing the menu while standing on the sidewalk a manager (?) talked us into visiting. They had blankets for diners who got chilly, in addition to propane tower heaters. Best I could tell, they have a food truck permanently (?) parked outside and it cranks out some fantastic food. I decided to get the fried shrimp (which was super yummy!) but tried the halibut fish and chips and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I’m sure you will too.
Get to Talkeetna just for the Fish and Chips at the Fairview Inn. Absolutely the best we've ever had. Soooo FRESH. Soooooo GOOD! These people care about the quality of food they serve and it shows. THANK YOU FAIRVIEW!!!
The Halibut fish and chips is amazing. Forget about having salmon. Have the halibut. Batter was amazing as well. Really light. Mason my server was friendly and quick to refill the water!!
