I recently had a collapsed lung and was brought to this facility. Alec and Doug helped me tremendously. I’m having a hard time remembering the other nurses who assisted, but everyone was kind and caring. The EMTs who brought me to BMC from there were also amazing. I’m so grateful to everyone who helped me.
I had a great experience at Fairview Hospital. The entire care team - doctor, nurse, technicians - had wonderful bedside manor and explained what they were doing without condescension. Reviews will always be mixed on wait time, but I was quickly seen by the nurse, and then there was little down time between all of the tests conducted and discussions with the doctor.
Literal quote from the ER doctor today "Well welcome to the Berkshire! We don't have a MRI here. We can do a cat scan at best. We can't cure you but we can help with pain management." I mean seriously?
The guy that answered the phone this morning at about 7:50am was a real jerk to my wife! None too pleased!
My son was seen in the ED at Fairview Hospital. Quick, compassionate and excellent care. Thank you Dr. Kristy Bowen and the entire team.
