We used Fairview for our first design to build custom home. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to build a custom home. They are professional, fair and build a beautiful home. We were happy with all of their people, from the owners to project managers to their subs. They were responsive and helpful to us from our first meeting to the presentation of our keys. Our family needed more space after our second child was born, and this builder helped design a layout that works really well for daily life. They listened carefully instead of pushing unnecessary upgrades. Construction took slightly longer because of supply delays, but we always knew what was happening. After moving in, the home immediately felt practical, comfortable, and genuinely built with care.

Building a custom home is not an easy process, with a million decisions needed. It can be outright painful at times! My wife and I just completed the build of our Blue Ridge Mountains dream home and we couldn't be any more excited! We chose Fairview Custom Homes over several of the other Certified Cliffs Builders due to their responsiveness and promptness during the vetting period. Beware of their white f150s getting off of Haywood road onto the interstate if you aren't doing 1000 mph. They almost rear ended me this morning, had I so much as let off the gas they would have been in my back seat.
