This is an old story from a little over 2 years ago, but basically what happened was we brought our bearded dragon here after he got his tail stuck underneath a rock. When we came to the vet they said they had to remove part of his tail which made sense to us. They had suggested to cut off more than they originally did since it was slightly black, if you do not know already bearded dragons often turn darker when scared. The staff at Fairview were extremely helpful for me today. The lady at the front desk was polite, patient and attentive. Dr. Dabri answered all my questions very thoroughly and efficiently. Additionally Fairview has an adorable and sweet cat, very soft and calm kitty. The staff went out of their way to assist me today and it was highly appreciated.
Wonderful vet for my hedgehog!! Discovered my hedgehog with a eye injury on a Saturday night- Sunday morning I called probably 15 clinics who all refused to see him. Finally Fairview said they could see him. They got him in that day, and did the appointment earlier than scheduled due to the severity of the issue. The doctor sedated my hedgehog, cleaned his eye, sutured it closed to heal, and gave us several meds to take home. The room with the scale was littered with old cut out stitches. The table itself had a visibly dirty towel laid on it along with more stitches. The vet and the assistants don’t seem to really care about your animal when you bring it in and don’t even acknowledge them at all. I literally had to tell them when and how to make my dog more comfortable. I would never recommend them to anyone and I will NEVER be taking another animal back there.
