An amazing local organization, they do so many amazing things for the local LGBT community. It's easy to get involved to volunteer and you really feel like you're helping make a difference. They're kind and you really feel safe there.
What rights are you fighting for? You can marry, adopt. Are you fighting for insurance or medical coverage? I'm not sure what your goal is.
The Fairness Campaign has supported the community for more than 25 years, making LGBT people in Louisville feel safer. Seeing its positive influence made me feel safe coming out while in high school, more than 20 years ago.
