I started working with Fairmax Law on June 23, 2026. The attorney acknowledged consulting with me on June 25, and the firm had my original paperwork before July 1. Because they allowed the process to drag on for so long, I eventually had to update everything and provide another month of income information. DO NOT do your Bankruptcy with Fairfax Law. For weeks now, I have been trying to reach my case manager and attorney. I am always redirected and told my case manager will contact me. NEVER DO! Crazy I’ve been doing this for 2 months to try to get some progress. They don’t call when they say they will. The times I talked to an attorney I was told they needed to review and would call back. I submitted everything I’ve been asked to multiple times. They told me I would be filing the next day every day for 2 weeks. Avoid at all costs. I am writing a 2nd review to further my complaint of how terrible this law firm is. I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy with Fairmax law and it had the been the worst decision I’ve ever made in my life. I filed bankruptcy after crashing and totaling a vehicle I still owed money on. I made it perfectly clear that I wished to surrender the vehicle. Absolutely unacceptable. HORRIBLE customer service. I had a real human texting me with updates about my case and giving me reminders. Ever since my 341 meeting I can’t get a text back to save my life. I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone for weeks and can barely get past the ai bot on the phone “Sophia”. Left multiple voicemails never got a call back. I have no idea what’s even going on with my case. Wish I could go back in time and choose a different law firm.
