Lovely place to live, but not necessarily a quiet place to live. These units were built back during times when soundproofing and insulation were not common concepts. Noise transference from unit-to-unit is high. You can make out words from your neighbors when they speak at a normal pitch, and their movements vibrate to your unit whether you live above or below.
