I'm a four-year Team Member. FFR is a great place to work. It's equal parts physical labor and mental work. I like that I get a sense of purpose from helping people who have been through a fire or a flood. They have a positive corporate culture; I feel respected and I consider many of my coworkers to be dear friends. I’m a recent customer of Fairlane Furniture Restorers. My basement flooded back in April and at that moment my wife and I were beyond devastated at the damage. We were assigned this company by our insurance agency and from the moment they stepped into our house I knew that I had nothing to worry about during the entire process. They promised they would return every item they packed to store after my fire. I got about 40% back. Precious antiques, gone, mine(80s) and my child’s dolls, gone. No rhyme or reason to what they returned. Most of my dishes, but not the valuable stuff. They brought back bins of literal garbage, but not my valuables. Wedding bouquet, thousands in med supplies. Liars. From the top down… looking at you Riley, as you and I spoke and you assured I’d lose nothing. A bunch of lies. From you and you and your team

I had an overall negative experience with Fairlane, even if most of my items were in excellent condition when I received them back. After my house fire, I contracted with them for a half dozen items—2 chairs, a ottoman, a painted cedar chest, a wood bench, a mirror, and a clock. I have no complaints on the condition of the upholstered/varnished furniture. It did take 10 months for me to get my items back, with me actively asking for them for the last 3 of those months. The agent made me feel like I was hounding her for calli... read more
