My Wife and I recently rented the Applegate for three nights with my Stepson, his Fiance and his Daughter. I can't say enough about the home, it's perfect location near the Nye Beach commercial district, and the beach itself. Enjoyed the fireplace, hottub and full kitchen. We had a terrific time that could only have been improved if the weather had been better. The owner, Norm was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. My family has rented from Fairhaven rentals since 2005. I found our first entry in the memory book in the Bennington when I stayed there in October. We have been so fortunate to make memories in Nye Beach while staying in these well furnished and very comfortable homes. Thank you to the owner and staff for their exceptional service! We had the pleasure of staying at Wakefield , one of the 3 houses that make up Fairhaven rentals. My family and I stayed for an extended period of time, and so glad we did. The house has all the comforts of home, with comfortable beds/bedding, fully stocked kitchen and well appointed to Nye Beach. Waking up and being able to see the ocean while I make my morning coffee, walking 2 blocks to the beach and ending my day with a soak in the hot tub were a few highlights of our stay here! Fantastic stay in Newport! House was spotlessly clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and necessities so we could do our own cooking, and hot tub was an excellent bonus. Wonderful views of the sunsets and a short walk to the beach for miles of strolling. We will definitely be back!
We spent 5 days at the Wakefield House and already wish we could go back. The house is immaculate and welcoming and you feel right at home immediately. The house has everything you could need right down to the wine glasses. We've also stayed in the Applegate and it was equally wonderful. Our next trip we want to try the Bennington so we can say we tried them all. Norm is wonderful to work with and responds so quickly to anything you could need.
