This facility went above and beyond while I underwent treatment there (November 2023). The nonclinical staff, the people you interact with most, are amazing. They treat you, the patient, as if you are human; like you are “normal”. The primary therapists are the clinicians that lead most of the group sessions, there is a dietician present at at least one meal a day, and a therapist on site until at least 5 PM daily (at their 18+ residential location). BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY! Do not allow them authorization to other doctors/therapist that you have seen in the past! Start fresh! And be CAREFUL of what you say and how you say it. this place is truly the only positive mental health treatment center i have ever experienced. the staff was kind, welcoming, and sensitive to the needs of me and the other patients. the only eating disorder treatment facility around here that actually addresses the root of the problem without shaming. other places can be so dehumanizing but fairhaven seriously made me feel like a person worthy of respect <3
