RecommendedI found the staff to be refreshingly caring and attentive to resident desires, needs, and overall wellbeing. I was medically monitored throughout the entire process of rehabilitation, physically and emotionally. My step dad had dementia, never choked on his food; but in less than a month here he did and he died right in the dining room. Was there no qualified staff there? Did they not see the incident in time? We will never know. Also, when we picked up his body his carved gold wedding band was missing. No one knew where it was. It was on him very tight - his daughter had just checked it 2 days before. Sorry Fairhaven, our family has no confidence in you.
Our parents have been there for almost three months. Friendly staff. Approachable management. Parents are as happy as you can be under the circumstances.
This place treated my dear uncle like crap. They neglected to help him with his pain and they never cleaned his room or changed his sheets.
