If I could give Fairfield Properties at Massapequa zero stars I would. I moved in 2023 and was told the property was going to get a facelift and updates and the entire time it was a complete mess! They replaced the front doors in 2023 and never updated with numbers so it was almost impossible for deliveries! They are currently refacing each building, but the progress is very slow and is not expected to be done for a while. This has been a nightmare from day 1 , please do not move into this development, I moved into one of the newly renovated apartments for $3700 , which I was told was less by the leasing agent who also listed that I moved in 7 days earlier and lost one weeks rent so nice to be honorable ! there is no exhaust in the bathrooms , the power blows out from everywhere! My husband & I lived here for two years with a one bedroom apartment & spent almost 3000$ a month. they don’t pay for electricity & they have fees for parking & “valet trash” ( they make you put your garbage out in a can then ur supposed to bring a dirty can back in your apartment) The management is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. We moved here 3 months ago and love it so far Julie was great showing us several apartments and being very helpful as we were making a transaction from a private house to a rental the maintenance staff lead by Shaq is great when you put in a service request it gets done right away and they seem to be on top of everything we are looking forward to spring and summer for the pool and have been told that they will be siding the buildings and doing landscaping
My wife and I lived here for a year and although the appliances and interior of apartment is everything you would want in a 1 bed/1 bath, there are for sure some cons. Upon moving in my wife and I were not informed that in the same building (building 55 lamplighter) there are section 8 personal. They live in front of the mailbox’s and dumpsters, even though there is valet trash Sunday-Thursday you still need to toss your garbage sometimes.
