A very inconsiderate doctor. Doesn't care about my mother's health issues whatsoever. Dr. McGowan was walking out the door as my mom spoke to her about her issues. She won't give her the doctor's excuse that she needs. All other parties say that my mom is entitled to this doctor's excuse, and say she needs it from her primary care physician. I would leave zero stars if I could. My family has been trying to find a family doctor closer to home. Read reviews and waited for our initial appointment. The practice recently moved and saw her on her second day there. She seemed very rushed, all over the place and wasn’t listening to me. I figured it was her getting settled. I’ve nearly given up on finding someone to actually listen to what my needs are and help me find the answers. Dr. Cynthia McGowan has by far surpassed my expectations! She not once has made me feel “crazy” or insignificant in any way shape or form. Always a delight to speak with. Anyone who has the opportunity to be a patient of hers is very fortunate. In my line of work I’ve come across many doctors. They don’t get any better than her.
I have four girls that see Dr. McGowan and we love her. She always makes them feel comfortable. She is very thorough and has gone out of her way to help us with various issues. Though we have moved nearly an hour away, we still make the drive to see her. It is worth it!
She does not take her time with you she seems to be impatient and waiting for her next client
