It’s a new Fairfield but feels like they haven’t figured all the things out. No one was at the front desk when we arrived and there’s no greetings or anything. As a Marriott member there’s no welcome pack, even no water or coffee in the lobby. The TV doesn’t work in our room, even with all the cables plugged in

Arrived in the evening after an 8 hour drive and was given a room. The room still had the prior guest's leftovers in the fridge and hair and such on the bathroom floor. I informed the front desk and they assigned me a different room. The 2nd room had crumbs on the desk and looked clean from a distance but wasn't. The hotel has been nicely remodeled but the cleaning could use additional attention to detail. The front desk offered a discount or to credit me points. I requested points. Always clean rooms but our TV didn't work when we first checked in arrived later then scheduled but night manger switched our room and all was good for the rest of our stay. That being said pool could stand to be a little bit bigger but we already knew going there the pool was smaller kids had fun and I got sleep all that matters.

Loved my stay. Unfortunately, feels like certain front desk workers are allergic to picking up the phone. I had a work related trip, and showed a tax-exempt cert. upon check-in. Received my bill via email and was still charged tax. Called over 12 times in the span of 4 hours in the middle of the work day (10a-2pm) and 1 guy picked up the phone and every since the call dropped no one has picked up since.
