I never actually ended up staying here. But whoever I dealt with on the phone was so bad I hung up and cancelled my reservation right anway, booking at a different hotel that’s NOT Marriot. I booked through hotels.com and simply just called to request not being on the main floor if possible. The lady on the phone kept pushing SO hard for me to sign up for the free membership or whatever (that I didn’t want to) in order for her to see the reservation. The location of the hotel and the waterslide are the only good parts. We get to our hotel room, and it is 74 degrees Fahrenheit (23 Celsius), and we try desperately to change it but can't. We go downstairs to the front desk, and it turns out we are the only room in the hotel with broken air conditioning. They try and help the situation by "offering a fan". Did not have a pleasant experience here. We called and asked for an early check in as we arrived earlier than expected. We were told by a man in the phone that we can check in between 2 and 2:30pm. We got to to the hotel at around 3pm and our room wasn't ready. We ended up sitting in the lobby for 50 minutes waiting for our room. Then we we get the room it was not even cleaned properly.
