I have titanium elite status and wanted to use a certificate award while passing through south bend. I was apprehensive about staying at this property due to some of the negative reviews. Justin at the front desk alleviated my concerns so I decided to take a chance and stay. While the room was a bit dated, it was clean, the location was great and everyone I dealt with at the front desk was friendly, professional and helpful. If I pass through South Bend again, I would definitely stay at this Fairfield
Justin was very friendly and kind despite having to pull a late shift. Solid room with a good bathroom. Breakfast was great too. Very satisfied with my stay!
I never leave bad reviews, but my experience here was so hellish, I have to try to warn future travelers so they don't have to experience what I went through. If I could give zero stars I would. Before you read on, do yourself a favor and book the Embassy Suites. It's right next door and much nicer. I actually had to leave early because of how bad my stay was here. I found a bug in my bed and there seemed to be black flakes (probably mold) coming out of my air conditioner. My TV barely worked (no volume, turned off randomly)... read more
