I ONLY GAVE 5 STARS SO MY POST WOULD BE SEEN!!!! BEWARE!!!!!⚠️⚠️⚠️My husband and I had brought our son & oldest daughter down to soaky mountain for the last weekend of the season, we booked with Marriott considering we had a $500 gift card. Needless to say it charged our debit card $390 after telling us we wouldn’t be charged until we went to check out, well once it was brought to the attendants attention she told us we would have to speak with a manager at 11pm. Love a good Fairfield Inn. We stayed here last night my birthday this weekend as my wife surprised me with tickets to the Vols game. Only reason it's not getting 5 stars is our AC didnt work in our room when we got back from dinner last night. It was after 9pm and we were just going to deal with it instead of possibly switching rooms so late at night. We will be letting the front desk know so they are aware but we would definitely stay here again when in the area.
Stayed less than 10 hours and got charged $250. Tried calling to resolve it with hotel. The manager (Sam) said she’d call back, never did. Followed up, still no response. Ended up canceling my card and disputing the charge with my bank. Totally unprofessional experience. DONT STAY HERE! Worst experience at a hotel and I travel as part of business.
TV in the room would stall and cut off and could not turn it on again for a while. Bathroom shower head sprayed water out of the top of the head and wet the bathroom floor which could be a fall hazard. The bed mattress is worn and sags and s should be replaced Breakfast was ok however with the amount of people they should have more than one waffle maker. This is not a Marriott standard hotel
Good overall stay. Excellent access to I-40 and plenty of places to eat.
