Found it randomly while driving to Detroit. Great location, safe with free parking. Great customer service, comfortable bed and clean room. I saw they allow pets although we didn’t have any. Morning staff serving us breakfast was awesome. The lady who was a trainee was so caring that I thought she was the manager. The manager is Ahmad and also very welcoming and kind. The ownership of the location changed 3 months ago and o can tell they were not stingy about water or good healthy choices for free hot breakfast. Best part AC... read more

TLDR: Rooms are great, service sucks. Rooms were clean and nothing special so it worked for us! Breakfast wasn’t bad either. No traditional bacon or sausage but they had biscuits and gravy which I rarely see anymore. The only slight downside to the location is the service. When we first got to the location, the police were here talking to employees over a situation of another employee which was awkward waiting to check in for. I arrived to find the blinds in my ground-floor room already broken. The wand mechanisms used to open and close them were detached and sitting in the corner of the room, so staff clearly knew this was an existing issue before assigning the room. When I tried to adjust the blinds manually for privacy, the damaged mechanism failed further. The “solution” ended up being to keep the blinds closed using pants hangers, which is unacceptable for a hotel room — especially on the ground floor where privacy matters.
