We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start each morning, with plenty of options to choose from. We also appreciated the large parking area, which made coming and going very convenient. We had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable stay at this hotel. Our room had a strong odor coming from the AC that smelled like something dead or rotten. It made the room feel unsanitary, and we were not comfortable staying there beyond a few hours. We raised the issue and wanted to pursue a refund through our credit card because the room conditions were not acceptable. What made the situation much worse was how the hotel handled it afterward. ★★★★★ Fantastic stay at Fairfield by Marriott! This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms were spotless, modern, comfortable, and very well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety to start the day before exploring Yosemite. So I went from 3 stars to 1:( I am pregnant and HOT. The air unit is awfully LOUD. Not worth 52K points. Small rooms with poor lighting (I had to use my phone's flashlight to look in my bag bad), and multiple other minor inconveniences that add up. We had a better experience at the cheaper oakhurst inn across the street the first night.
