I stayed here while commuting to my inlaws. Not impressed,, waited quite a bit to even get checked in, construction without room rate reductions, awful smells, items everywhere, staff unavailable, had a hard time retrieving reservation, one functioning lift, limited breakfast (no rate reduction) no one at country for check out. All I have to say is that proper management is everything. The previous Fairfields made this place look like a Motel 8. I have been asking for many to call me for over 7 days. All Fairfield inn & suites are not made equal. I stayed in one the previous night before staying in this hotel and they've already released the hold. It's been almost 10 days since I stayed. It took 30 minutes to check in (no one was there), could not find the payment on my check-in but when I called customer rewards they have no problem finding it. Toxic off-gassing! I think it's great that the hotel can remodel with new carpets and paints, etc. But it was so incredibly strong smelling and made my throat raw. It might have been okay if the windows hadn't been painted shut - no fresh air could come in! I had to leave immediately and find another place to stay.
Quite pricey for the area. There are several options nearby for half the price. The only reason I stayed here was the fact I've been a marriott loyalist for years. The breakfast is lacking, to say the least. You are now charged for juice. Marriott didn't bother to let me know renovations were going on. 5 am wakeup construction dumpster. Wet feet when walking by the ac unit. No working icemakwr on our floor. Except for the 3 other current reservations i have, This will my last Marriott stay. Not happy.😠😠😠
