I’m a gold elite, and I’ve been a platinum elite for years. This is one of the oldest poorly equipped hotels that Marriott owns. Need a serious update.. everything is old, musty, and full of heavy perfume. Rooms are small, heating/cooling doesn’t work very well, fitness center is a very small room with only minimal equipment. The computer system made me wait 15 minutes to check in services Marge I’m used to better from Marriott.

Very simply and well organized with all the basics, a pool and whirlpool, and good breakfast with dietary options. Only negatives were some mold in the shower ceiling and completely full trash cans in lobby and dining area.

Employees were rude. Bathroom had a constant odor and the fan screeched. They had an extremely noisy maintenance man fixing something directly outside our room at 6:30am (not an exaggeration). By 7:30am we said something to the front desk and got push back. Turns out they were just fixing a light, nothing crucial or time sensitive. A single light. Location and breakfast was fine.

We discovered a baby roach crawling on the curtains. The manager (who just arrived) couldn’t take the time to talk to us on the phone when we called down. After trying for an hour to find another Marriott to go to (because this one was fully booked) we ended up going to another hotel around 10:30 pm. When we checked out the manager didn’t even say sorry. They had cancelled the reservation (so someone else could book the room for the other two nights we were supposed to stay).
