We booked this hotel 1 week prior. When we tried to check-in around 6pm we were told we did not have a room, the hotel was over booked. Then we saw 4 other families in the hotel lobby with the issue due to being overbooked. We had to find a new hotel our selves on the spot, this was a significant interruption to our trip.
Made a room reservation 2 months from a wedding and two days before received a notification that it wasn't being honored. Hotel was listed as a referred hotel for the wedding.
The rooms are not up to date and it smelled like mildew. Old TV with a raggedy remote that you had to be rough with for it to work. Old air conditioning system. The blinds didn't close completely. There wasnt any USB charging ports. The best thing about the room was the bathroom linen. There was an adequate amount, they were super white, and the cloth quality was above normal. Fairfield by Marriott is one of my go to hotels when traveling for work. The Holland location was located close to the company I was visiting. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
