The rooms are marginal for a Marriott. Many items broken or dirty. I am gold member and would never stay here again. Food was marginal. I had to argue to get the room I reserved and had confirmed. This was a first for me with Marriott. This is a case of poor management.

I had a terrible experience staying here. The room was exposed to extremely bright exterior industrial lighting that shines directly through the windows all night. The hotel advertises blackout curtains, but they do not actually block the light they don’t even close properly and leave gaps on the sides. As a result, the room never gets dark, making it very difficult to sleep. This is a basic expectation for any hotel, and it’s disappointing that management has not addressed something so fundamental. The rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. When I reported the conflation of the room to the front desk the Manager said he would come inspect it. He came to the room and said he inspected the room next door so that we can be switched and asked me to take a look at it as well. First thing I looked at was the chair. There were so many crumbs and something sticky in the creases that I couldn’t believe this was in the room he claimed to inspect. There were also stains on the walls in the room. If you are sensitive to highway noise, avoid this location. Loudest room I ever slept in. You enter the hotel between two giant trash cans. Elevator floor filthy and there were cracker crumbs and other food and dirt along the 2nd floor headed to my room last night. Was still there this morning when I checked out. Sofa in my room was stained. Manager was apologetic but I don't see these things getting resolved.
