Terrible stay. The hotel is new but the bed was absolutely horrible and the room was over priced! Very disappointing for a Marriott chain. We had to take their “suite” to get a king sized bed. It WAS a last minute reservation. We were traveling across the state at midnight during an unexpected monsoon. Their “suite” was not worth $300 for a Thursday in Buckeye AZ! Tuesday afternoon after riding in the heat all morning I tried to check in early. Because I used a 3rd party to book the front desk lady (Myra) would not allow us to check in at 12pm! We did not require the king room we booked, we would take a queen instead. We just needed somewhere to chill down shower & refresh before being back in the road. I was willing to pay for a night even though I just needed somewhere to get out of the heat for the afternoon. I am very disappointed with Myra's unwillingness to accommodate my needs ... read more
