We were here for a wedding off site. It's your general Marriott hotel. Our room felt damp and was cold despite the air being on a 74. The fire alarm went off early in the morning, first we were told it was because someone's shower caused condensation on a sprinkler system. Then we were told there was a toaster fire. I had a wonderful stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Atlantic City Absecon, NJ. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and supportive throughout my visit. Special thanks to Chasen Bynum, the Front Office Manager, for his professionalism and hospitality. During breakfast, Janice and Kelly provided exceptional service — they were polite, attentive, and made the morning experience truly enjoyable. Great team all around!

Disappointing Stay – Needs Serious Attention to Cleanliness and Safety I rarely leave reviews, but this stay warrants it. From the start, my room was not clean—there were popcorn pieces and hairpins on the floor, and the carpet felt grimy underfoot. It was clear the room had not been properly vacuumed or refreshed. The worst part, however, was the shower. There was no way to reach the temperature knob without getting completely wet, which meant I ended up doused in cold water trying to turn it on, and then burned myself befo... read more
