This hotel is in a historic old building with a lot of character. I stayed as a Gold Elite and did not automatically get upgraded despite messaging them on the app a few hours before arriving. At check-in, Sedik was kind enough to upgrade me to an Executive King room with fireplace. The room overlooked State Street with three large windows. This hotel is completely disgusting and the customer service is awful. Avoid this hotel! I traveled here for business and woke up in the morning to a shower that didn’t work and they couldn’t fix asap for me to get ready for my meeting. I literally had to lay of the floor of the tub to wash my hair and body as best I could. It was all I could do not to throw up. How disgusting! Sedik at the front desk in the albany location was incredibly friendly and courteous. The room was nice but the bathroom was amazing. You are right in the heart of downtown so you have plenty of options to both eat and wander. I only wish albany had rentable scooters
