Nice downtown hotel in Albany, 4 blocks from the state capitol and museums (it's a steep uphill walk...the capitol is on a hill). Room was large with nice desk, lots of plugs, microwave/fridge/coffee maker, and a firm bed. The bathroom was huge and shower worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful, including saving my food when I forgot to empty the fridge. Closest parking is 2 blocks away for about $30 per day -- the walk to/from the garage can be a bit creepy at night. There is street parking if you want to deal with ... read more

This hotel is a scam. I had an upcoming booking with this hotel and all of the charges were to be paid at the hotel with free cancellation, however I was asked to provide credit card details for the booking. I provided and a few days later the hotel charged me almost 200usd. I called to ask and no one can answer why I have been charged and refused to refund me this amount. Beware people, scammers are working at this hotel and they will drain your bank account without being responsible for it.
