The internet connection is an absolute joke here. You’d have faster connection with first gen dial-up than what they provide. There’s no option for Marriott’s faster internet either. Also, if you have t-mobile, don’t even think about grabbing a room here unless you’re looking to completely detach from society as there is no cellphone reception either. Issue is that the rooms are really musty. Yes...it is summer in SC and humid, BUT this is an issue with insufficient AC capacity to take out the moisture. And level of musty smell/humidity level is not a short term issue. Second room better than first, but still bad. Travel partner had same issue with his room. Did have great check in experience...awesome staff member! Good location. That said, sadly can not recommend this location until they fix the humidity/AC/musty issue.

So I'm not giving the hotel itself a 1 star but I will give it a 4. This morning my family and I go downstairs for breakfast and my daughter is preparing her waffles I see (Alma) taking care of the trash with gloves on, you say what's wrong with that well Alma walked to the food area and stirred up the gravy and eggs, with the same black gloves on.
