Each year the Bill Increase to users goes higher and higher. No matter how much customers try to conserve energy the fix is already in to do a price hike on South Carolina citizens. How is this type of price gauging robbery even legal. My light bill is usually 100 - 130 range. This month it's $310.00 I shouldn't have to pay for other users putting up Christmas lights during the Holidays and I definitely shouldn't have to pay extra for Fairfield Electric employees getting paid overtime during a ice storm. My gosh. This entire summer the utility bills are similar to winter bills. So I’ve been paying over $275 a month last few months. So in August I turned AC down. Went on vacation for 10 days. Unplugged everything in the house. My bill is $277. In July I had an air purifier and air dehumidifier running constantly. The AC was turned down and cold for the entire month. My bill was $288.77.
