This location will schedule and charge you for unnecessary labs and send your bloodwork elseware to be processed. The issue is, neither the receptionists or doctors let you know you may have a balance since it is sent to another company. When calling, the receptionist is always very defensive and rude. I was told it is my responsibility to find and read the correct signage in the room and then take that information to determine what my balance might be. Fairfax location I would not recommend, manager there very condescending and rude, not user friendly, talks over you. I think her name is Amy. I've been a patient there since 2021, and I won't go back because she is so difficult to deal with. What patient needs a doctor's office that doesn't listen, talks fast and over you, doesn't allow you to speak, makes quick assumption of why your calling and is ready to hang up before you even have chance to speak!! Thankful that I can say "I have a wonderful primary care provider" for the first time in years. Incredible care team. I have severe spine issues both neck and low back, so I feel like I'm a needy patient, but Fairfax NOTCH has never made me feel that way. Everyone- reception, nursing, primary care, case management, mental health counseling, etc-is so kind, resourceful, and helpful. I have been at this practice for a few years now. While I've been happy with the care I've received, I have been extremely displeased with the attitude I consistently have gotten from the front desk staff. There is one woman that I speak to who has been very rude and it makes me not want to come here anymore. I shouldn't feel uncomfortable to call my doctor's office whenever I need to make an appointment or schedule a visit. Amy at front desk is wonderful, even consider her a friend! I'm a very busy self employed carpenter and whenever I'm running late or can't make it she figures it out so I get the care I need!!! Along with Rich Gallagher, my FNP, I have the best team on my side! Rich even stayed in touch on his days off while I was hospitalized once, not many Docs would do that!!!
