I've stayed at this hotel throughout the years and it has had several owners. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the current owners are concerned about the upkeep of the hotel. There is a old, moldy smell in the first floor hallway. The room I was assigned, smelled horrible also and the laminated floor slats had extreme water damage. We got a room for 3-days for only $225. Pet rent is $15 per night though. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay only 10-minutes away from the family oriented Yogi Bear Jellystone Park at Mark Twain Lake. In the small quiet town on Monroe City, Missouri USA 🇺🇸 👌 😎 ✨️

While traveling from another state to Missouri, we were looking for an inexpensive place just to sleep for the night and saw that FairBridge Inn Express had a pretty high average for reviews and was reasonably priced. Upon our arrival we were greeted at the desk and given a room right around the corner from the front desk. As soon as we went into the room, there was an extremely unpleasant odor and we discovered small ants all over the sheets and wall. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I left an item in our room. When I called to tell them I left the item the guy told me there was nothing left in the room. When I know exactly where I left it at. They are thieves and now he won’t even answer my phone calls because he knows he is lying to me. Zero out of 10 would not recommend staying here.
