What a magical experience. After a long stressful drive, arriving at The Fairbanks house which was lit up so beautifully for Christmas and then walking into the also incredibly beautifully decorated interior including each room, immediately dissipated all our stress. Beautifully appointed, spacious room. All decked out for Christmas. Perfect location, short walk to restaurants and historic downtown. Top notch service and delicious breakfasts. 100% recommend.
We stayed at the Fairbanks House for our 21st wedding anniversary this past weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was delightful, our room was fantastic and decorated so beautifully for Christmas, the grounds are exquisite, breakfast was delicious, the location is superb, and the fresh baked cookies were an added bonus. I can’t say enough great things about them. We will definitely be back.
The Fairbanks House is such a beautiful and charming B&B. We recently spent three nights there and stayed in the Kitchen Suite. The room was spacious and immaculate and has a lovely private porch that overlooks the pool. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the patio two mornings and had breakfast in the stunning dining room our last morning due to chilly weather. Stayed here with friends. Located blocks from downtown and from the river. Very clean. Friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Quality wine at social hour. We loved it.
