We are first time home buyers and our realtor recommended Fairbairn. Kevin Hill did our townhouse inspection, he explained things clearly, thoroughly, and gave great advice. I really appreciated how informative and detailed the report was too, it made me feel very confident in our home purchase!

We hired this company to do an inspection and they let me know it would be around $1,300. I paid the amount on my credit card. After it was all paid and I signed the agreement then I got another email telling me it would be around $1,900. Seems to me like they are employing a bait and switch tactic here and it is fraud. I am not sure what to do now as it would be very hard to trust this company with my upcoming inspection.
I feel very fortunate to have had the Inspection Report from David Fairbairn to inform me about problems in the building where I am planning to purchase. He is an expert in building construction and all the difficulties that can develop over time. I was very impressed with the drone photos of the roof. David carried out a very thorough inspection of the property, not forgoing anything, and even uncovering items previous inspectors had missed. He was also diligent in translating the report into something meaningful for us and outlined some expected investments needed in the property-those that were optional and those that were mandatory. I will certainly use his services again when in need of an inspector.
