Im disabled and have been trying to get a membership there for therapy but no one seems to want my business. Ive been working on this for over 2 months and still nothing. Wth happened to this place?
Been here for years. Always kind and helpful. Would suggest it for work outs and classes
Our family has had YMCA memberships over many years, so when we moved to Carthage we signed up here. In that time,(over a year now), we have rarely been able to use the pool comfortably,(it's 15-20% below body temperature!), basketball court rarely as pickle ball and volley ball take up the courts. The website is atrocious as you can't get any current schedules, so we know when to take the boys to play basketball. Seriously, why does pickle ball need the gym? Fair Acres meets all of my needs for working out. I have tried several classes and have enjoyed them all. Our kids have played some sports through the Y as well and it's the most organized Y youth sports we have been a part of. We are thankful for this affordable gym in our community.
