As a patient I called in wanting to be happy here. But when you can for a nurse to help you and you have to wait over an hour it hard to be happy. They boast of delicious homer cooked meals and I've yet to see or taste them. I would advise you keep looking for a place to suit your needs. Getting well you need support add they are not giving it.
This is the BEST florist in Hagerstown. We have been customers for over 50 years. They provide a variety of services and their flowers are always fresh and plentiful. We have used this shop for weddings, funerals, birthdays, and a variety of other occasions and they never disappoint. The staff is friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with.
I wouldn’t recommend that place for any of my family members because I worked there a few times and I was very disappointed with the care that I saw their nursing staffs provide to these patients. I had to give someone a seizure medication that was scheduled to be given at a certain time, but the medication was not there because no one didn’t reorder that medication on time for the patient to have it. I only left a 1 star cause I couldn’t give less! My mom died while staying here. Right before Covid she broke her hip and had surgery at Meritus we didn’t want her here from a previous bad experience we had with them when she fractured her other hip only 61 and I get a call they went into her room and found her unconscious. We got almost to the hospital and they told me to go home they couldn’t resuscitate her. Days before I told them she was going to get a blood clot if they didn’t get her out of bed even to a chair! I was a former employee of this establishment. They did me so wrong! I wasn’t even out of my 90 days and they let me go without any explanation! I had never called in, been late, i picked up extra shifts all the time and the residents loved me! There was no reason for them to terminate me! The next day when i went in to return my badge and my book, they told me i was being terminated for “sleeping” on the job, which anyone who knows me knows I’m an insomniac and i have issues sleeping!
