I wouldn’t recommend that place for any of my family members because I worked there a few times and I was very disappointed with the care that I saw their nursing staffs provide to these patients. I had to give someone a seizure medication that was scheduled to be given at a certain time, but the medication was not there because no one didn’t reorder that medication on time for the patient to have it. I only left a 1 star cause I couldn’t give less! My mom died while staying here. Right before Covid she broke her hip and had surgery at Meritus we didn’t want her here from a previous bad experience we had with them when she fractured her other hip only 61 and I get a call they went into her room and found her unconscious. We got almost to the hospital and they told me to go home they couldn’t resuscitate her. Days before I told them she was going to get a blood clot if they didn’t get her out of bed even to a chair! I was a former employee of this establishment. They did me so wrong! I wasn’t even out of my 90 days and they let me go without any explanation! I had never called in, been late, i picked up extra shifts all the time and the residents loved me! There was no reason for them to terminate me! The next day when i went in to return my badge and my book, they told me i was being terminated for “sleeping” on the job, which anyone who knows me knows I’m an insomniac and i have issues sleeping! The nurses are awesome, but please explain to me why there was no food service workers there at lunch time?? The nursing staff had to handle lunch as well! There is no excuse!
Management is great but people there are mean I apply housekeeper but I have bad experience with 2 latinas names sue and lily they discriminate they said they don't get pay to training people only I state one week there but management are great except those latinas discriminate but is good place but
