Dr. Modi Took time to review my CAT scan and referred me to Shantz Hospital in Gainesville. I was pleased with his ability to acknowledge I needed to go to a different facility for further testing, although there are a lot of interns he was friendly and knowledgeable about my lung disease.
Dr. modi caused me not to be able to get my back surgery because he would not clear me because I was not getting surgery in Citrus county my surgeon and other doctors have not heard of such a thing. He does not care about patients I have been waiting for this surgery for months to finally be out of pain and now I will have to wait TERRIBLE bedside manner stay away especially if you are trying to have surgery out of the citrus county area.
Dr Modi is great, listens, his nurse however needs to be replaced!!! No compassion and very rude!!! She sets up a virtual appointment knowing 3 meds are vital to patient, then calls in just one!!!!! So now will be 6 days without vital meds!!!!! Unacceptable behavior!!!!!!!
Poor decision maker, rushes to a diagnosis using incomplete information ad he is a very poor communicator. I could never recommend this doctor for any patient. The numerous errors he made could have been fatal to my family member. I was literally horrified at his bad decisions & his lack of communication with family members. He actually lied to my face regarding an incident. The nurse even said he lied. I never want him near my family or me again.
Nice guy, but took the radiologists word for a condition that, with a closer look at the discs, should have been visible earlier. Only after a trip to Mayo, where they pointed it out, did he look more closely, and admit that the Interstial Pulmonary Fibrosis with Honeycombing was present. Very disappointed.
