The owner Michael tried to charge my wife $100 for a job he quoted $50 for. The job was a simple part replacement, screw out the thermostat and screw in a new one. But he said in the end the machine had to go to Mississauga to get repaired. I ask to see the bill from them, he refused, I asked if I should call them to verify, he got angry. Also it was obvious his staff are afraid of him. In the end I paid him his $50 and left. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
The place is great and the owner is great! Lots of this is on sale now!
I had seen this place many times, but never stopped in because I'm not a big espresso fan, and it is very much a specialty espresso shop. But a friend of mine wanted to get a gift for someone else, so we went by. The gentleman staffing the store was terrific. He chatted with my friend and helped her choose a good gift. She also got an espresso and then came out to tell me how amazing it is. I had a sip of hers, and then had to have my own, because it was so very good. One of the best services in Toronto. The owner is very pleasant, helped me a lot with a present that I was looking for, and the espresso was so good!
