This is my second time getting braids with them and both times they have delivered. They are always so kind, transparent and professional. I will drive the hour every time because I know I am getting quality service and my hair will last especially because they always explain to me ways to maintain it before I leave the shop.
I made an appointment for my daughter and I to get short boho braids. I brought in the hair for both. The owner who did my daughter's hair did a nice job, but made it significantly longer than I'd asked. The lady she had come for my my hair(both of us at the same time)... She was not nice, appeared angry(I don't say this lightly being a black woman). Oh my God the pain while she braided was ridiculous some of the braids. I want to start this review by saying the woman that owns the shop is very kind, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately she has another heavier-set braider who helps her in the shop and if she suggests she do your hair of the shop owner… RUN. First she assured me she could do the hairstyle I wanted with the hair I had but when she started immediate complaining. Linda is an incredibly nice and talented lady. My son braided his hair for the first time and even though his hair was still so short, she still managed to braid his hair super nicely. Couple days later, we had to come back to fix a few (since my son would not stop messing with them), and she fix even more than needed. She open her schedule, was very flexible, and at no charge. That shows her dedication and willingness to go above and beyond.
These ladies did a great job with my braids!! Nothing but good vibes and a peace of mind that my braids won't slip out!
