Went to see this guy for my lumbar pain and his assessment was this: He told me I was obese and old and that there was nothing wrong. Even though my MRI shows 4 bulging disks. Provided zero treatment options. His staff is trash too!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GUY! Wish I could give him a -5.
Dr. Hanbali you are wonderful! However, if you could use some of that technology and clone a better front staff it would make a world of difference with your patients. Dr. Himbali recommended a spinal decompression surgery to my sister. Complications left her paralyzed from the neck down. Its been over a decade and I never thought to share this because accidents happen and she is a complicated case. However, he was very dismissive after the botched surgery and misleading. When we persisted to ask questions he stopped taking our calls. I hope he sees this and at least makes an attempt save face with future patients when things go array.
I am a physician and my mom was having saggy brain dementia and noted a chronic CSF leak on MRI L spine and MRI brain. Her PCP referred her to Dr. Hanbali and he refused the consult because his staff and him say she needs neurology and not neurosurgery. This is incredible disheartening that this clinic treats people of El Paso this way. My mom is receiving great care from University Medical Center and would encourage people to be referred to UMC instead of Providence. She’s now getting surgery and recovering.
