I visited the London Heritage location of Fabutan in Calgary for a spray tan, expecting the usual $39 service that I had pre booked in advanced. Upon arrival, I was told the only option was a $60 “boxed tan” with bronzer. I was not informed of this price change in advance, which is unacceptable. A quick call or notification would have allowed me to decide whether to proceed. Instead, I was put on the spot to pay significantly more than expected. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.

I would advise against giving your banking info to any Fabutan, but especially this location. After I finished my 4 month commitment period on the membership, I asked the manager (in person) to cancel. They confirmed the cancellation was done, yet continued taking money out of my bank account. I called to remind them the agreement should have been terminated, even after this call the next payment still went through.
