Fabulous Firs shutdown in 2023. Was a great place for the traditional cut your own chrismas trees but I'm guessing social media claimed another victim. We tried 5 different tree farms in Dutchess County this year on the morning of the first day their openning and were unable to find a tree taller than 7 feet and a diameter greater that 3-4 feet. I'm assuming next year will be a repeat
Love this place and their trees!. We love the variety of trees and that you can tailgate (carry in carry out). Wish it was open for the 2025 season.

Fabulous Firs planted its first Christmas tree in 1984 and continues to offer cut-your-own and pre-cut options. Plus, shop for elegant handmade wreaths. Feel free to bring your dog with the family and have a festive day out in the Hudson Valley.
Best selection hardest part is choosing we saw 10 trees we would have been happy with. Go early they don't stay open much past Thanksgiving weekend usually.
