I wrote a review about this chap trying to overcharge me $176 for a toilet cassette. Now he has addressed the issue see photo… 1. he did not look at or discuss the toilet issue. There was nothing wrong with it anyway. I just wanted a new cassette instead of replacing toilet slide 2. Freight costs- the local other retailer in the same town charged the price on the dometic label i have written to donetic

Firstly, I was impressed by the cheerful boss chappy. I wanted a Dometic 4110 toilet cassette and was advised the price was $575. I suggested perhaps there had been a mistake, as everywhere in regional Queensland that I know of charges $399 — and they have them in stock on the shelf. Nope. Not a mistake. So I went to Echuca Caravan & Outdoor and paid $399 for the same cassette. Had a nice coffee, enjoyed a lovely look around, and saved myself $176. It does make me wonder what else they’re charging considerably more for.

Best plan is to say, sorry we don't fix Truma heaters, l know you may have been trying to help BUT after the first day and over $300 you got us back 4 days later and had someone else work on it, still really had no idea what he was doing, so $650 later and still with no heating we headed off on our very cold holiday, now home, the heater has been fixed, just so you know, it was a loose wire on the temperature sensor, it also needed a software update to clear all the error codes, SO you would never have been able to fix It, y... read more
