Complete Scam. Get your E-Z Pass tag in another state (like NH, PA, or even NY). NJ E-Z Pass won't let you close your account, charge you a monthly fee, and charges you an additional fee for a monthly email that only contains a link to your statement. They have a setting on their website to receive statement emails less frequently and avoid the fee, but the setting can't be changed - it resets back to the monthly fee even if you change it, locking you into the extra fee. Lord when will customer Service comes on the phone. I believe it’s not the customer service fault! They are understaffed! They need to do better
If I could give zero stars I would. On hold for over an hour and counting. Received 5 toll "violations" totaling $39.30 and then they want to tack on an additional $225 in fees?? Mind you these 5 "violations" are on two of my vehicles that both have transponders in them. I travel from DE to NJ for work multiple times a week how come in the morning it reads my transponder but in the afternoon I get a "violation" or the day before no issues and then the next day it doesn't read?!?
