If the guy answering the phone is unwilling to give his name when you call trying to be cordial in looking to do business with them, that's weird. If the guy refuses several times when you're just trying to learn his name so you can be respectful in calling him that name and then he starts being passive aggressive and rude over the phone before you could even talk about your reason for calling, that's CONCERNING. Insane effort to not just say your name, bud. Business lost, going elsewhere. I recommend readers do the same.
UPDATE: The owner finally called me and asked me to go pick up glasses. I asked him where should I meet him to pick up the glasses and he said to please meet him at same suite and mentioned that coincidentally the day I went to his office and found the office completely empty he was getting new furniture. Yet I show up to an empty suite. Don't know what this guy had planned, but I didn't go alone. This was the most unprofessional business encounter I've ever experienced. And it looks like I'm one of the lucky ones who actually got some form of eyeglass repair from this guy. First of all the guy wasn't even there when we made our initial appointment. We were told that he could fix a cracked frame but he couldn't so instead of letting us know, he ends up putting a different color front piece on our frames making them like Frankenstein mismatched glasses. Honestly deserves zero stars. I came to this gentleman as he was recommended to me by a trusted source. My fault for not doing more research. The place seemed a little off at my appointment. We met in the lobby where he checked out my frames and ensured he could repair them. He told me all I would to need to pay was $44 to replace the frames and he’d call me when they arrive. ETA was 7/15 and it’s now the 27th. Still haven’t been able to get in contact with him. My calls now go straight to voicemail so I’m probably blocked. ... read more
